****As a policy, Westport PAL Girls Lacrosse will inform our youth players but will not endorse any outside programs. Playing for any club, clinic, camp, private program, etc... will have absolutely no impact on team placement, playing time, etc at Westport PAL Girls Lacrosse next Spring. The improved skills that your daughter may attain, of course, may be noticed.  We simply want all of our players to grow, love the sport, compete and become the best lacrosse players that they can be!***

The Line Up Recruiting Clinic (New Canaan, CT)

Rising 8th Graders+

July 16, 10am-5pm.  The single-day training and recruiting event of the summer! The Line Up is designed to expose players to elite college level coaching, general recruiting advice, and a premium showcasing platform.

Body Blast Performance (Bedford and Coleytown)

Led by Rosie Rodriguez, a NASM-certified trainer, Body Blast is a tailored strength and conditioning program for middle school student-athletes who want to prepare for their sport, increase their general fitness level, or continue to build on their fitness routine and sports performance. For all levels of athletes, Body Blast provides a joint-by-joint approach that enables athletes to gain strength, power, mobility, and flexibility, using the athlete's own body weight. The program will also include instruction in foam rollers and balls, a thorough dynamic movement warm-up, speed and agility work, and a conditioning component. All training will be multi-directional and multi-planar. Attain your personal fitness goals and have a blast doing it

Eagle Elite Westchester Lacrosse Clinic (Danbury, CT)

December 17, 9am-1pm, Grad Year 2018-2023The coaching staff here at BC prides itself on teaching the sport of lacrosse to participants of all ages and ability levels. All clinics are taught by our coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our clinics are used with our college athletes. Westport Girls Lacrosse Camp(Staples High School, Westport, CT)

Ages 6-17

GameBreaker is proud to return to Staples High School for the Westport Girls Lacrosse Camp.  This camp runs 8:30-12 daily.  Campers will learn individual stick skills, positional play, team concepts, and will scrimmage daily.  We also hold many fun contests during the week for great prizes.  Join us for an unforgettable week of lacrosse and fun!   These camps are coached by our own Coaching Director, Amy Alvord.  

Tryout Tuneup Camp:  (Ginny Parker Field, Staples High School, Westport, CT)

Entering grades 4-9

Our Tryout Tune-up Camp is the first ever 5 day intensive camp designed to prepare girls for Club program tryouts of the highest caliber. Drills are packed with high reps, maximized touches on the ball, quick play and competitive situational game play. Girls will be playing with and competing against the best in Fairfield County.  Players must be experienced and must be trying out for a club team for summer 2018. No beginners.

3d Lacrosse:

Carolina Girl's Lacrosse Camps: (Greens Farms Academy, CT)

Join UNC on a local level.  Carolina camps and clinics are premier in the country and the destination for lacrosse players to take their game to the next level
because of our high level of talent, intensity of play and exceptional instruction from the best in the game!  The Greens Farms camp is a 2 day day camp with a morning (5th-7th) or afternoon (8th-12th) session.

Darien Summer School: (Darien, CT)

Entering grades 3-9

The camp’s goal is to stimulate the love of the sport of lacrosse. The camp is dedicated to provide individual instruction to players of all ages and abilities. A low player-to-coach ratio and players-to-field ratio make for a great teaching and learning environment. Instruction will include the fundamental skills, tactics and techniques of lacrosse. The members of the staff represent years of coaching and playing experience. All aspects of the game will be covered including: (1) Passing & Shooting; (2) Catching & Scooping; (3) Cradling & Dodging; (4) Offensive Movement; (5) Defensive Position & Techniques; and (6) Game Tactics and Strategies. Goalies will be provided extra instruction. Individualized instruction by a knowledgeable coaching staff that represents years of coaching and playing experience. Campers are certain to leave camp with a greater understanding and enjoyment of the game of lacrosse.

Fairfield County Lax, Lacrosse Pickup League:  (Weston HS, Weston, CT)

Entering grades 5-8

Weston High School will be hosting a Girls Lacrosse Youth Pick Up League this summer.  Wednesday nights from 6-7pm on the Weston Lower Turf.  Nights will include 30 minutes of clinic and 30 minutes of pick up lax, Fairfield County Lax pinnies and certified officals for every game.  An adult lacrosse pick up leagues is also available from 7-8pm for high school and above.

Girls Lacrosse and Leadership Camp: (Hotchkiss School, Lakeville, CT)

Ages 10-17, overnight options

At camp, we will help campers learn about being part of something – a team or cause – bigger than themselves. The camp will combine outstanding lacrosse instruction with off-field camp activities designed to promote teamwork and teach leadership skills. At the end of camp, we want all campers to not only be better lacrosse players, but also recognize how as leaders they can be more valuable to their team, their school, and their community.

Insports / Nor’easter Goalie and Shooters Girls Lacrosse Clinic:  (Trumbull, CT) *GOALIES*

Entering grades 3-12

The girls will be separated by grade on various pods for skill work.  Each session will start with specific small group goalie instruction focusing on hand eye speed and footwork.  While the shooters will get technique instruction.  The remaining time on the field will incorporate goalies and shooters together in drills as they implement the skill work taught each session.  Techniques taught will vary session to session.  For example, one week shooters may focus on power technique vs. the appropriate time to place the ball with more finesse.   Nor’easter coach and local college head coach Maureen Spellman will direct these sessions. `

Next Save Lacrosse: (Greenwich Academy, Greenwich, CT).  *GOALIES*

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to train with some of the best goalies in the game, while preparing yourself to play your best for the upcoming lacrosse season!  Goalies will be separated into small groups based on age/experience.  Our program directors include former UNC and current NY Lizard goalie Chris Madalon, and current NY Lizard and Team USA goalie Drew Adams.  Amongst the two of us we have a great deal of knowledge about the position and are anxious to help young goalies improve their game.  Our program is designed specifically for goalies, by goalies!

Nor’easter Girls Lacrosse School:  (Hamden Hall Country Day School, Hamden, CT)

Ages 10-18

Nor'easter Summer Sports Camps strive to develop the whole athlete in your child.  Campers improve their skill level and develop the confidence needed to attain a high level of success.  Sports Camps, are in session from 9am to 3:30pm. The camps utilize the fields and athletic facilities at our Skiff Street Athletic Complex.  

Nor'easter Lacrosse and GameBreaker Overnight Camp:  (Newport, RI)

Ages 8-17

Nor'easter Lacrosse and GameBreaker return to Newport, RI for their 14th Annual Summer Girls Overnight Lacrosse Camp.  Salve Regina University will again host this wonderful week of lacrosse and new friends.  Campers stay on campus in the school's dorms and eat their meals in the campus dining hall.  Overnight and extended day camper options are offered.

Sound Lacrosse Summer Camps:  (Wilton High School, Wilton, CT)

Grades 3-11

Sound Lacrosse offers half-day and one-day lacrosse camps.  Each day is filled with station work, small sided games, scrimmaging and other fun games to keep the players engaged, learning and most importantly having fun!
