Westport PAL Winter 2018 Track and Field Fitness Program
Our youth athletic programs are dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through track and field. The program will focus on fundamentals and provide training in all areas of the sport that will build endurance, increase agility, flexibility, power, and speed. We will include the fundamental of body positioning, stride, proper stretching and cool down techniques.
The program exercises and drills will prepare athletes for a future in track and field events.
Our program is open to all boys and girls in grades 2 through 8, all levels of experience.
Our program Coach is Jesse McCray, currently the Head Coach for Staples High School Girls Track and Field
Athletes can choose to participate competitively or not.
Our goal is to provide each athlete with an opportunity for personal achievement, great training, sportsmanship basics, and lots of fun.
WINTER 2018/2019 SCHEDULE
The Winter program will begin the week of December 10th
December and January practices will be on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Dates: December 2018 - 10, 11 12, 17, 18, 19
January 2019 - 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 22, 23, 24
